Picky to the Pixel is a web design agency with the vision and passion to design innovative and creative websites. Today we produce our web design in Southport, the North West of England, situated close to Formby, Liverpool and Manchester - but thanks to the internet we can reach our customers anywhere in the world.

Our aim is to help our clients to be successful- by getting their website noticed, their brand recognised, and by supplying a bespoke web-solution, that entails much more than just getting you to the top of the search engines.

A bit of background

Katy Dell established Picky to The Pixel in 2008.

With a 7 year background as a graphic designer and art director, working for leading advertising and design agencies, which involved working on Blue Chip accounts such as Crown Paints, Erickson and Henkel, Katy realised the potential of the web and after gaining the relevant qualifications, became Web Designer for a new media agency, working on major car websites- including Audi, Volkswagen, and Chrysler Jeep. Katy soon became Senior Web Designer and gained a huge amount of experience in one of the biggest markets of all- the Games Industry- designing and producing worldwide websites to promote computer games for widely recognised brands- such as Rocky, Lamborghini & David Beckham Soccer.

More recently, Katy spent 7 years as a Senior Web Designer and team leader for one of the leading North West digital agencies, where she designed, lead and account managed for a list of high profile clients - including NWDA, Chester Races and Albert Dock Liverpool to name but a few.

Katy ticks all the boxes regarding qualifications- including Post Grad in Multimedia Design, HND in Graphic Design, Advanced Diploma in Advertising and Retail Display, and has always been able to impress her clients with her creativity in design and project planning abilities.

In addition, Katy has also created, designed and directed her very own successful E-commerce website and business with Lingerie and Swimwear retailer Bras and Honey Ltd, a company she still oversees to date.

The experience gained from creating a business and a new brand entirely from scratch, enables her to truly understand the needs of any new start-up, and puts her in an ideal position to pass on this valuable experience to her clients.
